Holmes
Dictator in Absentia

My Internet just died, so applications won't be approved until I'm able to get back on my desktop, but chargen is now open. If you haven't made a request for RPP, now would be the time to do it, and if you notice any discrepancies, please report them to Holmes@parallelrpi.com.

Thanks for your patience.

Also note that you can select '0' at the role menu to create a character with no role. They'll simply be an unaffiliated person with no benefits.

And obviously, if you're waiting to hear about the shops, don't submit an application yet. We're sorting those out when Holmes comes back.

Some random FAQs:

Butchery is skinning as well as cooking

If you can't pick the eye colour that your race should have, don't worry. This isn't used for anything except the autogenerated descs which you aren't allowed to use with an RPP race.

You can pick between 4 and 8 starting skills. The more you pick, the lower they'll begin at; but not by much, you aren't gimping yourself by picking more than 4.

If you want to be a melee fighter, it is strongly recommended that you pick either sole-wield or dual-wield. Dual-wield is also the skill employed when using shields. You can fight without one of these "fighting styles" but at a significant disadvantage.

If your role gives boosts to combat skills, you're not allowed to put the HIGHEST boost in dodge or deflect, but you can assign the lower boost to one of those skills. Note that dodge is for unarmed combat.
