New players and even ARPI veterans often ask for game-related information through helpline or in the PRPI Chat. We get answers when we're lucky but sometimes end up discovering the answers for ourselves. Then another player asks the same questions the next day or even just a few minutes later.

This is highly inefficient!

So let's have a thread dedicated to all those questions AND the answers you found, with the hope that it helps others that may find themselves seeking the same info, as well as motivating those that are able and willing to compile all these into a FAQ or add them to the PRPI wiki.

For starters:

Q: Do we have access to personal storage/housing?
A: People that are in clans (Niners/New Guard/Red Company) obviously have their base. However, everyone can rent a room in The Shades - the slums that can be found at the center of the market area. It costs 25 chips to rent a one-room, unfurnished shanty for 7 OOC days. Read HELP RENT for more info.

Q: Do we have access to crafting tools aside from clan halls?
A: There is a large factory located in the northwestern portion of the market. You can purchase ident-cards costing 10 chips each for access to a chemistry lab, armorcrafting, weaponcrafting and gunsmithing area. Each area requires a separate ident-card.
