The Biology skill will assist in gathering from this object. You
could attempt to extract a dark green pod of clear gel from this object.




Could you please change extract to gather? When i first started playing, I spent 5 mins typing every combination of extract, and kelp. And had to have someone tell me. I felt dumb.

Are the branches for subcrafts random? Because I keep branching things in weaponcrafting that are of no use to eachother, and useless on there own.

Sword blades (I was excited) then Hafts (I was like really?) Then javelins (Again happy) Then Build ordinary knives (Except I can't even make the blades)

it's totally random, as far as I can tell. I went without being able to make hilts until after I gto the crafts for swordblade, knifeblade, building all of the swords, and building knives... it was a pain, but hey.

I think it'd be awesome if he had inheritedly antagonistic roles. Like -- PC packs of cannibandits/barkers/whatever available to app into. Is there ever a chance of something like that happening?

I'm tired. I'd provide a comprehensive listing of reasons why this is a generally bad idea, but I'm tired. Can my word just be taken for it? Confused

I'm inclined to be far less dismissive (I think that's just a general statement Cool ), however I also think that PC cannibals would have a shorter lifespan than PC sewer bandits, which is ultimately to say, what's the point? At least the sewer bandits don't have to worry about the squicks eating them while they're plotting the destruction of Rust.

Plus I think rampant PK is a pretty delicate matter. Tons of tension and social antagonism, and the real risk of PK, are all great things. Viewing other PCs in the same way you view lagatos? Not a great thing. My personal favorite reason (although there are many) for why it's not is that anything that generally discourages players from investing in their characters and bothering to develop them (such as the assumption that they will only last a week) has terrible consequences for RP and ICly motivated behavior, IMO.
