A maintenance craft for the new pool for when the population of Rust turns it into a toilet and dumpster. Very Happy

A way to emote to people so other people don't see what you're doing, reserved for subtle actions that other people might not perceive with a chance to perceive them.

No speech allowed, we have whisper already.

Communication: Hmote

Syntax: hmote <emote> or hemote <emote>

Hmote is short for hidden emote. It can be used within groups to add more
subtle emotes. Those not within groups are run through a check of stats to see
if they will be able to see it or not.

Why doesn't anyone use this!? Or do they and it doesn't really show?

Cool!

Keep in mind that these secret emotes can still be spotted by others. If you want to use them to do anything sensitive in a publically accessible room, try not to bother other players with it. We're not so strict anymore, just don't make anyone uncomfortable.

I'm just loving that I've been such a newbie and didn't know about any of these extra emote commands until now, WOW! :0

A command that allows you to put color into emotes like you do on board posts so your fake NPCs can look like real NPCs. Bonus points if you can not have to use your name in said emote. This is to facilitate storytelling, obviously and is kind of impossible to monitor safely.

e.g.

echo #5A bunch of cool dudes #0do all sorts of gnarly things, shouting, #6"Cowabunga!"

would become

A bunch of cool dudes do all sorts of gnarly things, shouting, "Cowabunga!"

I can see that being used pretty shittily. In a perfect world that'd be great.

Chazz and I have actually discussed implementing something like that and tying access directly to RPP-level.

I'm not sure, still thinking it out.
