It's not always 100 percent uniform. For example finecolor dye is adroit with a six hour timer because having a 24 hour timer on a tin of dye would be insane.

All of the 'code power' items are uniformly timered. That means everything within armorcraft, weaponcraft, and gunsmithing. Outside of that, there's more flexibility. The timers on the finished products of those three crafts will not be changing, though.
