I was going to make one of thesegreatcoats.... but then I realized I don't know how to. Like you make a padded greatoat. Then you reinforce it with kevlar plating. But where do you add in the symbol? I was wanting to make a symbol on it, so when do you add the painted symbol?

I thought it went: get coat(made with handicraft, roughly adroit) with either symbol or not, plate it with kevlar.

The symbol will not carry over through the plating craft. But if you petition up, the staff have seemed willing in the past to swap it out for one with the symbol (since they're two completely different objects).
Maybe if someone asked nicely, they'd add a the armored coats to the paint shirt-design craft, or make a new, armorcrafting version of said craft, just for the coats.
