Well, it's been long enough. I played Izzy.

Gotta say, I liked playing him at first, but sort of teetered off at the end of it. I think I stayed true to his character for the most part, but, once again, I just had to make an introvert. Good news, I used a crap ton of thinks for once and I had somewhere around 16 journal entries. Bad news, didn't do as much roleplaying outside of the Niners as I'd liked. I think part of it was that he was scared shitless of the possibily of spirits outside the gates, so I could never go on trips.

Your characters were so good, fit the setting perfectly and set up some of the only PvP in the game. I don't understand why you didn't promote said conflict as a 'Game Director'. We needed more bandits/aggressive Niners, etc etc.

It's a lot easier to promote conflict from the relative anonymity of a PC. People generally complain less when they feel like it's just another player starting things, and not an NPC, or something driven by admins. People also tend to feel like they have more control, and of course, they're a lot more understanding of people being unavailable as opposed to driving NPC plots where I have to be willing to make myself available whenever someone wants to drive something.

The tools the RPI engine provides for controlling NPCs leaves a lot to be desired, especially when you're trying to do things with humans. The Cannibandits plotline had a lot of little glitches like that, as a result of how animation works and such. It's stressful, and difficult.

Bandits don't promote PvP, they actively discourage it.
