A quick follow up to the events of this RPT:
First off, condolences to those that lost character(s).
In the future, I'll try to structure things better so that it's a little less hectic.
This RPT was intended to be more about how players follow up, than anything.
The future of Rust's currency, whether people shift to a gold standard, or a different system, or whether they keep (heavily inflated) chips is entirely up to them. There are clear consequences to any decision. Pros and cons.
The security of the Market is also now in player hands. Depending on how you go about things, I may write new mobs, progs, etc. to determine how the Market continues to operate.
Feel free to send me any questions or follow-up logs.
Be aware that in making this change and trusting the playerbase to decide the future of the IG currency and Market entirely ICly, I'll also be keeping a close eye out on potential abuse cases or bugs, and would appreciate being alerted to those.

It would really be nice if players/staff would post things on IC boards, instead of leaving players to log in and go -what the fuck-.
This is probably the worst and longest lasting trend in this mud's history.

Usually things are like 'what the fuck' when you log on mid-RPT. Life isn't always a walk in the park, etc. etc.
But uh. Yeah, more communication/use-of boards would be amazing guys. I'm really terrible at using them myself.
