Now, I know that the sparring thing capped out combat gains at talented, but brawling is pretty much picked for rp uses only. It is utterly useless in a serious scenario, so my question is this. If the cap was added to sparring to cease twinking, wouldn't it be bad to make brawling cap at talented? I mean after that it forces you to twink to ever get better. Meaning I have to put other peoplea lives at risk punching lagatos or crocodile s faces? Doea anyone see thr logic in that?

I'm thinking you could also punch squicks in the face, similar to how people do it for weaponskills. That said, since it's honestly purely a skill to back up RP brawling prowess (unless we add brass knuckles or POWERFISTS *coughcough*) I think that might be an oversight.
Or, to look at in another way and be my own devil's advocate, there's only so 'good' you can be at punching people in the face. Have any real hand-to-hand disciplines survived in Rust, be it boxing or martial arts?

I don't see why not. Someone can be killed in a fist fight in real life.

That's not really what I meant. You can be killed by someone skilled or unskilled in a real fight. The actual rank in the Brawling skill, though, reflects how good you are at it. Is there any kind of organized hand-to-hand style that exists in Rust to reflect this, was my question.
Thinking on it more, though, nothing of the like really seems to exist for weapon skills either, so the entire question is probably moot aside from societal interest.

I am.just saying it is lame being capped at talented since brawling isn't effective in a real fight. Rp wise, it is useful though

The sparring cap is on 'trash' quality weapons, and sparring weapons in general, codedly. Not on PvP conflict.
Thus. There is no talented cap on Brawling. (Or shouldn't be.)
