Can I make a suggestion? I think finishing whatever turf code is lying around and putting it in would be a very effective and healthy way to get families to look after and desire more turf.

I've been frequently informed that turf code sucks.
Anyhow.
On next reboot apes should be somewhat easier. Monkeys should be slightly tougher. The spawns have also been adjusted. Monkeys should be significantly more common now.
I'm considering echoes tied to the spawns of monkeys/apes, but I'm also worried that tying more echoes in is just going to revert scavenging to the 'spammy annoying' feeling it had before Chazz made it less noisy.

Suggestion? Timers on Turf questslike the hull-fixing craft on Atlas had.

The Metro has been revamped in a similar way to the lab.
Crocodiles have been made weaker overall, but they'll occasionally spawn in groups, so the area is aimed at being a bit more challenging than the lab. Otherwise, it should look more or less like the metro you're all used to.

Those were manually loaded by Captain Nobbers to spice things up for you guys with the Metro RPT. I haven't seen him in a while, but the superfreaks are his thing, so it's not on me to say yes or no to that.

Temporarily added a cluster object to the factories' scav list that contains the neutron core item that we've been missing for fixing broken-down generators. Eventually I'll be sliding this to a more dangerous area's flist, but for now it's there.
