Yeah, it looks like whoever originally made it wanted it to be an adroit craft but fucked up the skillcheck. I've changed it.

Electronics/mechanic idea:
A robotic arm that can be worn on the shoulder. Essentially, it's just a worn robot with the melee chip (maybe modified to use sole wield) which attacks the same target as the wearer when in combat.
Maybe it requires and/or operates off of Electronics skill to be useful, and needs Master Electronics to even make?

I would actually like a torch craft. Require chemists to make the propellant/whatever, a handicrafter to make the cloth to soak the chemical in, and a weaponry plastic pole or something to hold it up. A little less life than a glowstick, destroys everything but a half-melted pole when it goes out.

Not really a craft but I was wondering if we could tweak the camo stencils?
At the moment we have:
a drab gray camouflage stencil and spray kit - which will end up with a lot of people potentially having the same decorated armor. I was thinking maybe just have 'a camouflage stencil and spray kit' that can be used with different spray cans for more variety.

Even though it's called leather-boots, what would you think about allowing polymesh to be used, like with shoes and sandals?

Did spray mesh-design (I think it was called) get taken out of the game? I thought it used to be a general craft but I don't see it anymore, either on general crafts or the craft list.

I'd like to see items which are reactive designs to the harsh environment - respirators for dust/contaminated/filthy zones like the wastes or sewers (could just be cosmetic), and things like oxygen masks which are more than cosmetic. Give a limited time of breathing underwater. Could be good-armoring, using components made from manufacturing (oxygen storage) and maybe electronics/mechanics.
Handicraft: A simple $color respirator mask
This simple $color respirator mask is formed from $polymesh fabric, and is shaped to seal over it's wearer's mouth and nose to seal out airborne contaminants. It is rounded with a slight pinch where it would sit over the bridge of a nose. Four bands are at the sides to secure the mask.

Just chiming in here, and if this info is out-dated I'm sure an admin could correct me. Until code support allows for it, oxygen masks or anything of the like isn't possible with the ARPI code. The only way that'd probably be possible is through some really ghetto progging, forcing the player to use some commands to BREATHE (or whatever command you wanted to put) every 30 seconds or something when you run out of air.

I'm pretty sure there's something in the works in the long run.

Mechanics: build mechanized-sword
Uses: spring-blade (from trapmaking), ordinary-hilt
Creates an o-quality sword with an interesting function: you can eject the blade with a command for an auto-crit on your current target, leaving you with a hilt in your hand. Afterward, you can pick the blade up and reattach it with a familiar mechanic check and a 2 or 6 hour cd.
I guess you can also add another hilt craft into mechanics or weaponcrafting that is specifically made for mechanized swords.
