My next PC is gonna be a Niner again.
On topic though: Suggestions? Pets please. Even tame rats would do, but I wouldn't mind having cats or tame dogs. |
If you can't get human connection ... |

EATAA: P.p.s. would be simpler.

That is how gramps will look like in my mind from now on. Maybe less hair.
Anyway, more suggestions:
1. glass crafts
2. rifle scopes (please! even if it does only an insubstantial boost to Aim or even no boosts at all. It just feels too World War 1 to shoot a rifle without aiming down its scope)
3. binoculars (even if they do not codedly allow you to scan further)
4.

given Gpa's actual appearance, this amuses me even more! As for the suggestions, I love all of them for flavor reasons, but where would we get glass from? I know next to nothing about lunar dust, is it close enough to earth sand for that to work?

Perhaps making it similar to erasing data sticks would help. Set both the data book and the laptop (attaching it via a bus and formatting the drive)/machinists tools (removing the back panel and inserting a flat screwdriver to short two jumpers) to held in hands as a requirement. You can also make it a "cooldownless" skill in electronics. You really have to be trying hard or be very unlucky to mess it up after that.

You don't need any. A good chemist should be just able to synthesise perspex from hydrocarbons. I'm certain it has its limitations, but you can very much make basic lenses and glass household items, like windows, from it.
