Yeah, Parnel was really insecure about his scarred up face. So he compensated by wearing jewelery, and nice clothing, and making his weapon beautiful, hoping people might look past his ugly face. If you ever noticed him touching his face, or his scars, then that was a time he felt insecure.

Etain O'Shaughnessy
I loved playing Etain. It was bleh...when she was murdered by someone she had adored forever...who claimed deep, abiding love for her and under that premise, got her trust and took her down in the sewers and slaughtered her in cold-blood. I almost decided then and there that this game was too brutal for me, personally.
