Yes, I've read that, but I don't think (and I'm new, so maybe I'm just not seeing it yet) they match up with what the players have shaped the families into. At the very least, it'd be really helpful to have the information expanded on.

Personally, I agree that there's potentially room for an update/expansion of the information.
Since the vNPCs (both the current mass of members of each Family and the historic movers and shakers) are run by the admins, I think the general feeling of the vNPCs toward what the PCs have done remains somewhat obscure at the moment. Admins may also want to avoid broadcasting IC specifics, I dunno.
If the administration gives the go-ahead, though, perhaps the player side can submit some additional information.

Is there any particular reason pmotes don't clear automatically when following?

Just poking around, thought I could answer a couple of questions:
The experimental-research craft is a holdover from Atonement ALPHA. Back then, it did something specific to ALPHA.
You can fix flashlights. You can basically do an ifcheck in the specified direction to look for a closed/open door and give a return based on that query. It should only be a few lines of script.

I know this was answered before, but I can't seem to find it. How do you put colors into a post on a board? Like making names purple, etc.

| And then they kissed. They kissed like like lovers, like friends, like rivals, like enemies. They kissed... like soul mates. | |

Been a while since I've played and even longer since my characters have gone hungry; what are the stages of thirst and hunger in order, seeing how the concept I have in my head might involve those things.

Don't know about thirst, and the stages between satiated and famished I don't particularly recall, off-hand. I think there's full, and then hungry. After famished is ravenous, which you stay at for quite a long time, comparatively, before ticking down into slowly starving. In both of the latter two states you get a fun little message in Health.
After that I don't know, but I believe at some point you begin taking damage, develop a pallor, etc.
Thirst I couldn't tell you, sorry.
I imagine you're more interested in the low end, so I don't know if this has been helpful to you, but two cents, there you go.
